BARGAIN ALERT!!! BARGAIN ALERT!!!

Aloha Bloggerinos,

I'm having a HUGE houseclearout. Before I take things to charity shops and eBay, I wanted to give you first dibs on everything because I know you are bargain hunters and love a good blog sale!

So, first up are some dresses. I won't go into the details because I have blogged about them before but just to let you know, I have DRAMATICALLY LOWERED the prices. I would like to just have them out of my house really.

I will be selling them for £25 each, inc P&P. Considering I bought these for £80 each, this is super snazzy and you'd be picking up a total gem. I have UK sizes 8, 12 and 16.

You can see them here----> SUPER LOVELY DRESSES!!!

I think these'll be snapped up fairly quick, so please comment on this post with your paypal email. It will be first come, first serve.

Happy Shopping!

PS

I'm going to be using my pennies on buying Baby Glitter some sleepsuits (the kids grows at an alarming rate!), a highchair, a new carseat (her newborn one will soon be too small) and one of those things babies sit in and can walk around with the aid of wheels- like a zimmaframe but sitting down and for babies haha. She is growing quicker than I anticipated!! Eeeekk!!

(I couldn't resist a cuteypie snap for you all)

Lou's Reviews :: HD Brow Kit- Foxy

Aloha Bloggerinos,

I was sent this High Definition Brow Kit a few weeks back and since I feel I have now thoroughly tested it, I thought I would share my thoughts with you all.

The HD Brow Kit comes in 3 different versions- Bombshell for blondes, Foxy for brunettes and Vamp for those of us with very dark hair. I have been given Foxy because I have brown hair and might I just say- it is the PERFECT match!

Each kit contains 4 anti-smudge pressed powders which can actually be used as eyeshadows or eyeliners as well, depending on what kind of brush you use. You could even use the very light hue as a subtle highlighter for uner the brow bone.

I have been using the little brush provided and the light chocolate brown for my brows and a little certainly does go a long way. I have also used the 2 lighter shades on my chum Charlotte's brows and even though she is blonde and the kit is designed for brunettes, it worked perfectly, so there is a lot of scope for flexibility with this product.

I think the packaging of this product is rather swish. It arrives in a sleek black box and the palette, as you can see, matches the black theme. I really like black packaged products, I think they feel demure or grownup somehow. I also like the that eyebrow brush is actually quite good at it's job (usually the provided applicators are pretty poor) and that there is a reasonable sized mirror, so you could take this product out and about with you and apply on the go. I will definitely be taking this on my upcoming travels!

So here you have a bit of a barefaced snap, with my eyebrows in their au naturel state.

And here we have it once I have used the Foxy HD Brow Palette. I actually prefer this to my MAC Eyebrow Pencils in Fling and Dirty Blonde- something I thought would never ever happen!!

It has great staying power- as in, is there when I take my makeup off at night, and I love how it makes my eyebrows just look lovely and defined and natural and not 'drawn on', like some products do.

Above is the eyebrow in question (ooof sounds like it's done something wrong, naughty little eyebrow) but with the rest of my makeup applied. I think alone it looked a little severe so I wanted to show you that it looks lovely (even if I do say so myself) when everything else is set.

The HD Brow Kit retails for £19.99 and you can find more info about it HERE or call 0845 644 3994 (ext 32). I think for such a versatile product with 4 shades, decent brush, mirror and good packaging, this is a great price and I would happily repurchase!
What do you think? Do perfect brows float your boat?

The September Issue

I had the incredible honor of being featured in the September issue of Vogue as a Vogue Influencer. It was the experience of a lifetime and I cannot thank everyone involved- including Vogue and CoverGirl- enough.

Congratulations to the incredible ladies Beth, Karen & Tess who I shared the honor with.

Just a quickie picture our friend Vicky took on her mobile at a family BBQ this weekend but I thought you would enjoy it.

A Little Spree

Aloha Bloggerinos,

This is a little late, since I have bought a few more lovely things since this little spree. Yes, it's naughty, I know, but I came into a little bit of money (I'm not talking megabucks here, I'm talking under £200) so I have treated myself to a few things and I thought I'd share.

You may well have seen my Garnier Day Cream review (click HERE if you haven't and want to) and I spoke about the Mother Puker Lipgloss last year. My tube ran out so I had to re buy it because I luurrvvee it so very, very much. I actually entered a little post on it into Abby's (her blog Abbzzw) Giveaway and it won! Woohoo! I still use my Cath Kidston mug- thank you Abby!!

Out of this little haul, I wanted to talk to you about the two lipsticks. It's love. Literally, love. In the snap above they look fluro orange but that's because I had to pop a lamp on because it was dusk and my camera is poopsicles. I've been wearing them in a lot of my recent videos and received a tonne of comments on them so I couldn't not write a blog post. :)

The Beauty UK Lipstick is in Naughty and the Sleek Lipstick is in Candy Cane. They are both a sheen finish, I tend not to like matte or frost finished lipsticks so these are right up my street. Neither of them leave my lips feeling dry and both have great staying power. I would say they don't last as long as MAC but they do fair a great deal better than other drugstore lipsticks I have tried.

The Sleek Candy Cane Lipstick retails for £4 and the Beauty UK Naughty Lipstick for £3.49. I think you'll agree that these are really excellent prices. On the Beauty UK website, it suggests that the product is infused with a minty flavour but personally, I didn't get this. I'm not overly bothered though, I love the colour, finish and price enough for it not to be an issue. The Sleek lipstick is said to contain vitamin E, so this is always a bonus. Gotta love those vitamins!

Swatches:  Sleek Candy Cane one swizz of lipstick (yes, a swizz/stroke/layer, you get my jist), Sleek Candy Cane double swizz to demonstrate how you can build up your coverage. Then, third from the left, Beauty UK Naughty one swizz and then the same but with two swizzes.

As you can see, they are both so similar that I perhaps didn't need to purchase them both, Superdrug mania got the better of me though! Ahaha. Does anyone else suffer from that?

Well that was my mini spree and review. I have actually bought a very spangly perfume and a couple of MAC things too, so I shall do a post on these very soon!

I hope you all had sparkly weekends.
